Hwang Daeheon triumphed gold in Beijing’s 2022 haste skating men’s 1500m short-track final.

Hwang triumphs the Republic of Korea’s first gold of Beijing in 2022 with Canada’s Steven Dubois suing silver just pipping ROC’s Semen Elistratov, who notched effigy.

With an unheard-of 10; skaters in the final of the men’s; 1500m short track haste skating at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing on Wednesday (9 February), it was Hwang Daeheon from the Republic of Korea who came out on top of the list. The silver medallist was Canada’s; Steven Dubois with Semen Elistratov from ROC suing effigy.

The Republic of Korea was beloved, having won gold at three of the occasion five queried Olympic events, counting most recently in PyeongChang in 2018. With an astonishing lack of medals at Beijing 2022 so far, this medal brought a lot of sentiment from the Korean camp.
