tigers
Tigers are the largest cats in the world, and they are also the only feline species with a striped coat. They have been referred to as “the stealthy hunter.” They can be found in Asia and Africa.
They have been hunted for their beautiful coats and for sport. Today, tigers are endangered due to deforestation, poaching and human encroachment on their territory. There are only about 3,000 wild tigers left on Earth today – but you can help protect them by donating at tigerconservationfund.
Tigers are an important part of many cultures around the world – including our own! In India, it is considered bad luck if you encounter a tiger while traveling through their native habitat during monsoon season (July through September). In Thailand (where we visited), people wear orange clothing on Friday nights so that when a tiger sees them it thinks they’re already dead prey!
lions
The king of the jungle is a lion, who has the strength and courage to defend his pride against all kinds of dangers. A group of lions is called a pride, and there are usually three males in each pride. The males are called “kings” because their manes make them look like kings on thrones! Unlike other big cats, lions live in groups called prides. They hunt together for food and defend their territory from other groups by roaring loudly at them until they leave. Lions do not hunt at night because they cannot run fast enough on soft grasses during this time of day; instead they prefer to rest during that time so as not to attract predators such as crocodiles or hyenas that may try catching them while they sleep!
bears
Bears are large, furry animals that live in the forest. They’re very strong and can climb trees as well as run very fast. Bears eat honey, but only when they want to because honey is sweet and delicious!
Bears are cute, smart and friendly! They are also cuddly so if you ever see one please go over and pet it on its head to show how much you love them!
deer
Deer are a species of ungulate, hoofed mammals belonging to the family Cervidae. They have an almost worldwide distribution and their habitats include temperate forests, savannas, grasslands and deserts in all continents except Antarctica.
There are more than 50 species of deer living in different parts of the world such as elk, mule deer and white-tailed deer. These animals live in herds led by a dominant male called “the buck” or simply “buck” (for example: Mule Deer). The size of these herds ranges from two to several hundred individuals with females leaving them after mating at about 2 years old while males stay for life.
